Skaneateles is a quaint town in Onondaga, NY.
The name is from the Iroquois term for the adjacent Skaneateles Lake, which means "long lake." Skaneateles is a short trip southwest of Syracuse and southeast of Rochester. and when you arrive, you may just want to stay!
